West Dane Chapter
of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County

The West Dane Chapter of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County (HFHDC) is a group of volunteers committed to carrying out the mission of building simple, decent, affordable housing. The Mt. Horeb Satellite, now called the West Dane Chapter, was formed in 2001. The chapter partners with HFHDC in the planning, family selection, and building of a local Habitat home. The chapter built its second home in 2006 with the Amy Doble Family. Their first home was built in Blue Mounds with the Cork Family. It was completed in 2004.

In 2009, the West Dane County Chapter completed building a home with the The O'Connell Family at 419 State St., Mazomanie.

The chapter is currently planning its fourth build in Mt. Horeb. If you're interested in donating for the build, you can donate online and designate the Mt. Horeb build. If you're interested in volunteering, you can contact Sherri Hefty.
