Site Supervisor/Warranty and Punch List Coordinator
Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is currently seeking to fill a position for a Site Supervisor/Warranty and Punch List Coordinator. This is a full time position with work hours from 7:30 am – 4 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

This position will be responsible for both site supervising and managing the warranty and punch list items. The areas of primary focus are 1) leading a volunteer workforce in all phases of affordable home construction, and 2) receiving, processing and coordinating the completion of all punch list and warranty requests. Experience in all phases of residential construction and the ability to read blueprints is required, as well as the ability and patience to teach and work with unskilled workers in all facets of home construction. Experience as a foreman or lead-person and broad knowledge of all phases of residential construction required; public speaking skills a plus.

Will be working outside year-round and must be adaptable to extreme changes in weather (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.). Must be able to lift 60-80 pounds unassisted and on a frequent basis. Requires a minimum of 10 years’ construction experience; management and finish carpentry experience a plus. Must possess a valid WI drivers’ license with a clean driving record.

VISTA Summer Associates (three openings)
Join our team and help Habitat for Humanity of Dane serve more low-to-moderate income families seeking a simple, decent and affordable home. Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is seeking three individuals to join our construction team from June 18 to Aug. 12. You will assist in crew leading groups of 4-10 volunteers in framing, roofing, siding, and dry walling. Some previous construction experience required. Benefits include: Living allowance of $891 per month, an Education Award of $1,000 or a cash stipend of $200. Qualifications: Must be a United States citizen, a national or lawful permanent resident of the United States and at least 17 years of age.
