AmeriCorps Members
Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is seeking self-motivated, team players committed to community service to serve as AmeriCorps members for the 2008-09 program year. We are looking for one member to serve as a construction assistant. The AmeriCorps program year runs from August through July. Members must complete 1,700 hours of service in the 46 ½ weeks.
Through AmeriCorps, members receive a living allowance of $11,200 during the 46 ½ week service commitment, health coverage, loan forbearance, and an education award of $4,725. In addition, Habitat for Humanity of Dane County will pay $200/month directly to your landlord while you are an active AmeriCorps member serving with HFHDC.
