I would like to start out by saying how blessed I feel to be a part of a truly spectacular program. My one dream for my son and me, besides good health, was to be able to provide a home for him, not an apartment, but a place to say is our own!

My name is Jamie Roehling and I am a single mother to the most wonderful young man! He is my greatest accomplishment.

I have a wonderful job at Head Start as an Associate Preschool Teacher. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my son and family. We enjoy bike riding, playing basketball at the park, or just walking around the block. I also enjoy curling up on the couch with a good movie or book.

My son Jaden is 7 years old and beside the above activities he also enjoys most sports, but his favorites are football and hockey. Feel free to ask him questions about these sports, he is full of knowledge and enjoys talking about them. Jaden is also currently reading the chapter books, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” which has brought some good laughs to our family.

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the volunteers and staff of Habitat for Humanity. Because of your open hearts I will be able to fulfill a dream that at one point I did not think was possible. A home for my child and me that truly belongs to us!
