The Omosebi Family
Started on: 10/08/08
Completed: 09/17/09
To God is the glory that made us to come in contact with Christianity.

We are the Omosebi Family. Our family was started on April 27, 2002 when I was joined in Holy Matrimony with Titilayo at our church in Nigeria. God blessed our union with two sons Ayanfe (Ay), 6, and Toni who will be three in November. Ay is currently attending Sugar Creek Elementary School at Verona while Toni is yet to start school.

We came to United States of America through the power of the almighty God in 2006 as permanent resident Visa immigrant. Ay was born in Nigeria while Toni was born here in the United States.

Titilayo works for the UW-Madison as an animal research technician. I work for Primerica Insurance/Financial Services as a representative/field underwriter who advises people on financial matters, planning for retirement, saving for college and helping families create a healthy family that lives debt free.

We really appreciate the wonderful plans of God, who brought us in contact with Habitat for Humanity of Dane County in a way beyond our understanding. Without mincing words, we have been thinking of what our lives would be after people turned us down right and left. But we prayed daily and then that memorable day happened when Maggie called from Habitat with glad news that we had been accepted into the program.

Our family has been thinking of owning a home in the United States with no clue whether it could really happen, but God answered our prayers this year. Oh! We shall ever be grateful unto him.

I think Habitat for Humanity of Dane County is a linking mechanism, which God has used to embrace my family when we least expected it. It is wholesome! Once again, we express our sincere thanks and appreciation to each and every volunteer, the staff and the Habitat for Humanity of Dane County as a body, for helping a family like ours to achieve such a wonderful milestone in our life. Our prayer is that God will surely return your efforts with manifold blessings in this world and make you worthy of eternity with God.

Thank you Maggie, Beth and Lisa for your courage, advice, ability to listen, cooperation and unfailing love toward our family. You have my profound gratitude.

God bless and love to you all, Kenny, Titilayo, Ay and Toni
