Events Committee

The six-month goal of the events committee is to have an average of 50 people in attendance at the monthly social hours and to begin planning for a fourth major fundraiser.  In one year, the goal is have established the three major fundraisers.  Another goal for one year is to have attendance at the HYP social hours averaging 75 people.  To learn more about the events committee please email hypevents@habitatdane.org

Membership Committee

The six-month goal for the membership committee is to increase membership to 50 fully paid and active HYP members, which is approximately a 25% increase in membership from January 1, 2011.  The one year goal is to have created a membership base of 75 members, as well as to have a functional membership directory available on our website including photos and bios of each member. Volunteer Committee

In six months the volunteer committee hopes to continue to offer and successfully fill monthly build days, as well as add alternate community outreach volunteer events every other month.  In 1 year the goal is to increase build day frequency to 2-3 times per month.  Additionally, the committee hopes to play a key role when HYP co-sponsors a home in 2011. Golf Outing Committee

The six-month goal for the golf outing committee is to raise more than $25,000 at the 2nd annual golf outing in June.  The one-year goal for the committee is to create a basic outline and timeline to help ensure the future success of the event.  Additionally, the committee hopes to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships with all of our sponsorship partners. Finance Committee

The six month goal of the finance committee is to begin provide financial statements to the HYP board on a quarterly basis.  Then, on an annual basis a budget will be provided to the HYP board for review and approval.
