Habitat for Humanity of Dane County Appoints New Members to Board, Names Interim Executive Director February 05, 2008 Contact: Cheryl McCollum, Habitat for Humanity, 255-1549, cmccollum@habitatdane.org MADISON –Ann Eaves, Madison, has been named president of the Habitat for Humanity of Dane County Board of Directors. Eaves is a retired executive of WHEDA. Michael Baer has joined the Habitat for Humanity of Dane County Board of Directors. Michael is a financial advisor with Financial Design Group, Inc., 8010 Excelsior Dr., Suite 200, Madison. Tom Popp, Jr. has been named Interim Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County. He will serve in this capacity while the Habitat for Humanity of Dane County Search Committee continues its work to hire a chief executive officer for the affiliate. Popp has served as interim executive director for the Friends of Troy Gardens and the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County. HFHDC Executive Director Brian Miller stepped down from his position in January and accepted a position in Atlanta with Habitat for Humanity International. The search committee is led by Bill DeAtley, a longtime Habitat for Humanity volunteer and former president of the HFHDC Board of Directors.
