Souper Bowl XIII Raises Record Amount

Congratulations to the UW Madison Student Chapter of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County for raising $32,000 at Souper Bowl XIII on Jan. 31. Thanks to the energetic UW-Marching Band, Bucky Badger and the outstanding local bands and singers for entertaining the crowd. Thanks to our area artists who created the beautiful bowls. Our celebrity soup servers were fantastic and included First Lady Jessica Doyle, Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz, NBC-15’s Sarah Carlson and Christine Bellport. Finally, we always appreciate the wonderful work of Triple M’s Pat Gallagher who served as master of ceremonies. The Souper Bowl raises money for the UW-Madison student chapter of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County. The student chapter has built eight homes and is working on their ninth student-led build. The event is sponsored by the UW Credit Union. |
