Habitat for Humanity of Dane County Forms Young Professionals Group

Group to hold Wine Tasting Event on Nov. 18 at The Brink Lounge

A new group of young professionals has been formed by Habitat for Humanity of Dane County to reach out and help the younger generation gain leadership skills and to promote community involvement.

Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) will hold its inaugural event on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at The Brink Lounge, 701 E. Washington Ave., from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The Wine Tasting Event will kick off the formation of the new group. Cost is $35 that evening or $25 for early online registration at www.habitatdane.org/donate/donation.cfm

“Habitat Young Professionals is a group that will be dedicated to making the Madison and other Dane County communities even stronger,” said Kristin Needham, a member of the HYP Steering Committee. “The only requirement to join is having the enthusiasm and energy to volunteer and to improve the Madison community.”
