New Officers, Members Join Habitat for Humanity of Dane County Board

[MADISON, WI] — Michael Baer, financial advisor of the Financial Design Group has been named president of the Habitat for Humanity of Dane County Board of Directors; Gordon Anderson, retired attorney of the Wisconsin Legislative Council has been named vice president; Justin Gerstner, president of the UW Madison Student Habitat Chapter and UW Medical School student has been named secretary and George Kamperschroer, attorney at Neider & Boucher, S.C. law firm, has been named treasurer. Ann Eaves, retired from WHEDA, is now past president of the board. New members joining the Habitat board include: Dan Duren of Duren Custom Builders, LLC, and Michael Rausch, attorney at Godfrey & Kahn.
Habitat for Humanity of Dane County provides simple, decent, affordable housing for families who might not otherwise become homeowners. Eligible families pay monthly mortgage payments on a 0% interest loan, and contribute from 300 to 350 hours of sweat equity in the building of their homes and an additional 25 hours helping other Habitat homeowners build their homes.
