Group and Organization Opportunities

Many groups support Habitat’s mission. There are many opportunities for churches, synagogues, businesses, civic groups and other organizations to build a home, contribute a workday at one of our construction sites, help cook and serve meals.

Lunches
Prepare/serve lunches for Saturday building crews an other specialty work dates.  E-mail Megan or call 255-1549, ext. 104 for more information and to sign up.

Building Crews
Groups (3-8 people) are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays all year. Sign up to reserve a group volunteer date by e-mailing Megan or calling 255-1549, ext. 104. The construction schedule is usually set about 2 months out, so please call well ahead of time to reserve a date for your group.

Calling All Youth!
Participate in Global Youth Service Day with Habitat for Humanity of Dane County! Youth of all ages are invited to join Habitat as we celebrate Global Youth Service Day on Saturday, April 24. Our day of service will have many opportunities available to youth participants. Youth of all ages are invited to take part in our recycled art activities, garden paver making, birdhouse painting, and parade float decorating. Those ages 14 and up may sign up to participate in building playhouses, picnic tables, or walls for a Habitat home! Spaces are limited and you must RSVP to participate.
