West Dane Chapter The West Dane Chapter of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County (HFHDC) is a group of volunteers committed to carrying out the mission of building simple, decent, affordable housing. The Mt. Horeb Satellite, now called the West Dane Chapter, formed in 2001. The chapter partners with HFHDC in the planning, family selection, and building of a local Habitat home. The chapter built its second home in 2006 with the Amy Doble Family. Their first home was built in Blue Mounds with the Cork Family. It was completed in 2004. The West Dane County Chapter is currently building a home in Mazomanie. The chapter is building with The O'Connell Family at 419 State St., Mazomanie.
