Thank you for considering volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Dane County! To be a successful volunteer all it takes is your desire to make a difference in the lives of families. Your skills can help our organization build homes for deserving families in the community.

There are tasks for skilled and unskilled construction professionals, retail, stocking and deconstruction work at the Habitat ReStore, office assistance work at our main office, and family service and other committee work. We also have opportunities for those who enjoy cooking to provide lunch or snacks for our construction volunteers. Most of these tasks only require a willingness to learn and an ability to work with others.

To begin making a difference, go to Volunteer Hub to register and sign up for volunteer opportunities. Or, contact Megan Kenney or call 608.255.1549 ext. 104.

You must be 18 or older to volunteer. Those who are 16 or 17 years old should contact Megan if interested in youth work days at our construction sites. She can be reached at 255-1549, ext. 104

"I see life as both a gift and a responsibility. My responsibility is to use what God has given me to help his people in need."
-Millard Fuller, founder of Habitat for Humanity
